I'm very annoyed about the fact that I payed for Adobe Creative Suite Production Premium 5 (EDU version) and now I'm not able to use it on my new Mac. The Support team (Chat) from Adobe told me several times that the product/serial or whatever was canceled but this doesn't help me to get the product working and I won't pay again for this software. So what's the reason for cancellation? I can't see reasons for this and I don't understand why Support team can't help me. Already found Error 'The serial number is not valid for this product' | Creative Suite but this doesn't helped me.

Maybe this is also useful... They told me I canceld this by myself which is not the truth. I had a Windows machine and used Creative Cloud as well but I only canceld the Cloud, not my Serial Number for Production Premium...
So who is able to reactivate my Serial Number so that I'm able to use my product?

I have deactivated photoshop in the old computer.
The old laptop have photoshop installed with the DVD but the new laptop don't have DVD so i downloaded cs5 from Download CS5 products. ¿Maybe doing this is an error?
the installation files work the same whether from a disc or download, but there are other ways to mismatch a serial and installer.

Serial Number Not Valid- new Windows 7pro workstation / fresh install of Creative Suite 5 Design Premium Win from download will not accept license key to install. This serial number is not valid for this product is the only response being returned. What am I missing?
The key is for Creative Suite 5 Design Premium the download is DesignPremium_CS5_5_LS1 and all associated files in the group.

I have Photshop CS5 Extended edition but when i try to activate the key it comes with the error 'Serial Number is not valid for this product'. The product has been activated two times before but the installation doesnt come with the error 'Serial Number is already in use' or something similar. Any ideas on how to fix this?

My laptop crashed and I had to install PhE11 on another laptop. After installing it says: this serialnumber is not valid for this product.
But it is the only serialnumber I have, and I did not type it wrong. Please help.

I bought CS5.5 Student/Teacher edition and applied for my serial number from Adobe. After validation of my proof of education Adobe sent me a serial number. When I attempt to install I get the message 'This serial number is not valid for this product' Anyone know why, I've looked under the installation help guidelines but to no avail. I'm using Mac.

Our serial number is suppose to be valid. We have paid. I was told I could download the software, which I have done. I installed and it says that this serial number is not valid for this version of diadem, which by the way is 9.1. However, I can install 9.0 and the number works fine. I want 9.1 though, not 9.0. Running this on Windows XP pro.

Yes, I knew this. I have been working with Linda from NI and am still awaiting a response. We have purchased this. We have had the same serial number for the longest time, as a matter a fact, its the only serial number. We were suppose to get this version and I was suppose to be able to use my serial number with this. While I have been waiting, I was hoping that maybe someone else had run into this problem and new of a resolution. I appreciate you taking the time to respond.

Perpetual Photoshop versions support one platform. For a fee you can switch platform and get a serial for the other platform.
I purchases MS creative suite 5 Student Licensing in 2011. Just rebuild my MAC. Entered code to re-install Photoshop. Prompt displays 'The serial number is not alid for this product' What can I do?
You will have to contact customer service by phone about this issue. Please have your proof of ownership ready. For instance an email or receipt.

I'm switching to a new laptop, and I want to bring my Acrobat 9 STD with me. Deactivated it on the old laptop, went to the download page for Acrobat 9 and downloaded it, got to the part in the installation where I entered my serial number, and the installation wizard said it was invalid. That's when I noticed the download was for Acrobat 9 PRO, not STD. I used the support chat and explained it to the support person, and he gave me a link for the 9 STD download. Unfortunately, it was the same page. I downloaded it again. Still 9 PRO. Anyone else have any ideas where they're hiding the Acrobat 9 STD download?
Finding the file all depends on how you did the install and if you downloaded the install file. If the install file was downloaded to the TEMP folder, there is a slight chance it may still be there (should be in Windows>TEMP, not sure on MAC). It may have a name similar to the Pro download of AcroPro90_efg.exe. The Pro would be change to Std and I am not sure what the efg stands for. I would search for AcroStd9*.exe. There seems to be a download for AA 9 std available at http://prodesigntools.com/adobe-acrobat-x-10-pro-reader-suite-direct-download-links-ddl.ht ml. I have no idea if that works. I had found one place where a staff member said he is working on getting links up for all the older versions, not just the trials (that are Pro). I simply searched on Google for Acrobat 9 Standard files. I can't find the message by the staff, but there is one in the last week or two as I recall where a staff member was providing links for folks on an individual basis.
